Sometimes, it depends on the guy, I have a friend who does that, and it's sweet that he links about me :)

I wouldn't exactly consider that sweet, but that is nice :)

Sweet to me is if a guy randomly compliments me, hugs me out of no where, is there for me no matter what etc etc

it is nice for a guy to simply ask how you are, especially if they rarely do, but its annoying if they ask too often... don't go overboard!
