Hypothyroidism ...tsh levels.?
I have a tsh level of .2 is this considered pretty low?
Update:People who have responded...hyper means over act and hypo means too slow to react....So mine is the too slow one. No I am not being medicated as of yet. He is a good doctor.

Yes, that is quite low. Technically, that indicates hypeRthyroidism. Not HypOthyroidism. But thyroid blood test results are tricky. You need to interpret the TSH test result in context. What is your free T3? What is your free T4? Do you have any auto antibodies?
The only way I know of to be hypOthyroid with a low TSH like that is to have both Grave's disease, and an ignorant doctor who is over-medicating you right into iatrogenic hypothyroidism.
Edit: We know darn well what hypo and hyper mean. And a TSH of .2 indicates hypeRthyroidism. I don't think you have a good doctor if he hasn't explained that to you.
It depends on the rest of your blood work and the levels that lab uses. Do you have a copy of your bloods? It will tell you your range on it. Mine is .02 which is low. But low tsh usually means Hyper not Hypo so im a little confused. How are your T3 and T4?
