So in less than 2 weeks I will be going into the 9th grade. I'm sort or nervous but I'm also really excited. I know where everything is because in 8th grade I went there every morning for my french class then I would take a bus back to middle school. I just need to know what to expect. Are the teachers super strict? I already know the girls are bitches. I want to join the track team and I need to know if I have to try out or something. I was in track in 7th and 8th grade so I know what to expect. But are the workouts harder? Anything that I can do stay away from being the most hated person in school? Certain things I should wear? And no stupid answers like you don't need a boyfriend and just worry about school work. No ****, that's my plan. I just don't want to be labeled because I get good grades and I don't party. So yeah, thanks :)

9th grade is fun! the strictness of your teacher depends on the teacher and the school, i cant really give a definite answer for that. Normally the classes will be a little harder, but it all depends. The girls aren't all bitches, you just gotta find the right group of friends. It depends on your school and the program if you have to try out for the team or not. Where i go, its like whoever wants to join, is in. I can say that the workouts will probably be harder because it is a high school team, but dont worry. Joining a team is really good and i HIGHLY recommend it for all grades. Don't worry, you wont be the most hated person. Just stay confident, dont be too shy, dont be mean, annoying or get cocky. Join clubs, but you want enough time to get work done. Wear whatever you like. In middle school for me, it was all about clothes. In high school, nobody gives a crap. People come in sweatpants and t-shirts and nobody cares. Just dont wear clothes that are too skimpy.
about being labeled, heres how i think about it: School always come first. The overall goal for high school is to get you ready for college. Dont let anything get in the way of that, nomatter who cares. Its good that you dont party, I say a party once in a while is ok, as long as you stay out of trouble , but dont let your social life take over.
tryouts are frequently alot like practices, without difficulty pay attention to what the trainer is looking and just do as they ask.. For illustration.. in basketball pratice.. The men who might run the quickest and dunk the ball frequently wouldnt make the group seeing that they didnt use their brains, they didnt recognise positioning.. you cant coach a character to make use of their mind.. simplest their frame.
