If you can, wait a week before shaving again to let them heal. Exfoliate often. (Don't wear shorts for a while!).

Shave in the evening, because the skin is more taught and you'll get a better shave. Before you shave, soak your legs for at least 4 minutes in warm water. Exfoliate your legs. Don't let your legs get cold. Lather on a shaving cream for sensitive skin. Gently pull a new and sharp razor against the hair growth. Rinse your blade often. Don't rush the shaving process and be carefule around ankles and knees.

As soon as you get out of the shower pat legs dry and apply a rich and creamy moisturizer.

i had the same problem. but then i figured out that my legs jsut weren't ready to be shaven yet cuz i would shave as soon as i got in the shower. so my mom told me to just shave right before i got out of the shower instead of just getting in.
