The kids live in NY and their father lives in NH. Due to covid regulations, they're not supposed to travel out of state for more than 24 hours. Am I wrong for not letting the kids see their father?
if you want to make a good case to LOSE CUSTODY AND PARENTAL RIGHTS...don't let them travel.
there is no such rule as you are not supposed to travel for more than 24 hours.....people travel all the time ...even for regular vacations, adult family visits...
essential travel IS ALLOWED. the rule is that you need to quarantine when you come back.
parental visits are among the most essential travel.
how long is the visit supposed to be. if it is short (ie just a weekend), it might be better of the parent to travel to them)
how will it work with school? are they still remote?

Give them a one way ticket and have your phone disconnected.
