Okay this what happened:
1. I get a "C" on my progress report.
2. My mom calls my teacher for an explanation.
3. My mom said that my teacher said I didn't study. My Mom says I have D.
4. I say the teacher is lieing .
5. Mom calls and tells teacher what I said.
I am in middle school so of course we have to have Teletubby-style manners.
Teacher obviously thinks I am trying to lie about what my grade is. That is not the case. I said she is a liar because she said I didn't study. It offended my because my math grades speak for themselves. It is my favorite subject. I studied long and hard for each test we got. So I told my mom she is lieng.
Anyways my mom told me its going to be my mom, my teacher, my principal, and I in one room.
Do you think I should be punished?
I stand-by in my actions. I study hard and I believe no teacher has the right to discourage like that. I, of course, will be working very hard to get my grade back up. I am just worried I am going to be expelled before I get that chance.

if they expel you for saying that your teacher is a liar, then there is something very wrong with that school. First of all, there is no way to prove if you studied or not if your grades aren't good. Maybe you did study, maybe you didn't. Who knows. The bottom line is there is no proof that you didn't. So, maybe your teacher is lying. If your mom wants to punish you for not doing good in your class then that's her right as a parent. Your teacher shouldn't be involved unless she just got your grade wrong. I know when I was in high school one of my teachers mistakenly gave me someone else's grade on my report card, my mom discussed it with the principal and they checked the grade book and found out that it was just a mistake. This situation could be similar. I don't think your school will punish you for not liking your teacher.

i personally wouldnt automatically call the teacher a liar. all you should say is that you do study, instead of callign somebody a liar.
and depending on how your mom wants your grades is whether or not you should be punished. if she is just wanting passing grades then you should not be punished. but if shes wanting A's or B's only then you are most likely going to be punished.
maybe aplologizing to the teacher about calling her a liar will help things a little bit because if you say " im sorry i called you a liar, but i really do study" then she might not be so upset

I don't think they would punish you over what seems like a misunderstanding. A similar thing happened when I was in school, they just sat me down and talked it over.
Ask if you can take a re-test. I ended up taking one and getting a better grade.

fur real, my teacher pisses me off cause she accused me of not doing my work and not studying, and shes always tellin me im failin her class, but im gettin an A in her class.
