Hey,
I am looking for a good book and find myself in the mood for something with time travel...but I dont want to read Outlander. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
Well, there's A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain and The Time Machine by HG Wells. The classics.
And then there's time travel romance, which seems to be a big sub-genre of romance. Here's a bit of a list: http://www.womensforum.com/time-travel-romance-nov...
Connie Willis has several, including The Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog.
We just released a book with some time travel in it. It's called Tangerine. The time travel is not like the usual stuff, though.
I liked "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger
