I don't think Frankfurt is worth seeing compared to many smaller towns. But I have a feeling that only germans dislike Frankfurt and wouldn't recommend it to tourists from abroad.
Anyway, have a great time and don't forget to try at least 3 different beer sorts ;)

Schloss Neuschwanstein (Castle "New Swan Stone")
Rhine Valley between Bingen and Koblenz

Munich, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Tübingen, Heidelberg, Potsdam, Wernigerode and / or Quedlinburg.
If you can't get enough:
Augsburg, Nürnberg, Würzburg, Konstanz, Freiburg, Speyer,
Weimar, Eisenach (because of Wartburg mostly), Leipzig,
Cologne, Bonn, Bremen, Lüneburg, Schwerin, Hamburg, Lübeck.
