i have two cpu problems:
1) 1st CPU - i tried turning on the cpu and it emits a high pitch tone (kind of the same pitch when a meter is used to test shorted components) and it wont turn on.
2) 2nd CPU - it just wont turn on! i checked the plug but its okay. still it wont turn on.
im afraid that the 2nd CPU problem will also happen to the 1st CPU if neglection is a factor. HEEEELLP! what should i do other than have both CPU checked by a technician??? thanks again!! :)

The high pitched tone of a computer indicates that there is a general fault with the system which could be anything from the ram to the graphics card but with what the system does with the second cpu it appeares to be the ram as some computers wont make a sound if the ram dies try taking the ram and the cpu out and then reseat them into the computer and try again and make sure that no pins on the bottom of the cpu are bent or damaged (if it has any) and if it still wont work try some diffrent ram otherwise you will need to have it tested as it could be a BIOS failure and most of the newer motherboards have a BIOS recovery feature that is specific to each motherboard also you could try to clear the CMOS which again is specific to your motherboard and if all of the above fails you will need to take it to get tested.
WHAT THE ****?!?!?! A CPU CAN CRASH? i don't think a cpu can crash if a cpu were to crash it would give you the blue screen of death, ALSO how do you know if your cpu doesn't turn on? your computer should start up but not load bios , if you dont know this you don't deserve a computer
The CPU is the computers central processor.
I think you just mean your Computer Crashed.
Well if both computers were on any kind of network then it could be a virus has infected both of them. Both the computers sound like they have crashed or are infected with a virus.
