I live in Spanish Fork Utah and i got pulled over today for failing to yield to a pedestrian, but I was in the far lane on and there was a big semi truck next to me and he just went and i was right next to him and i didnt even realize that there was a pedestrian in the process of crossing cuz the semi was blocking my view. Well he pulled me over (not the semi) and gave me the ticket... what im asking is should i fight it?

Yes! you are not responsible for what you can not see. What did the cop say? Take the time to go to court. It would help if you had a diagram or picture of the situation to show the judge. But don not be surprised if the cop says it is not true. They do not like to be wrong.
I am sorry for you but you should not fight it. If you cannot see, you cannot go. You have to wait till you can see. The other guy's driving in front of a pedestrian is not an excuse. Bad luck happens. Some cops are particularly hate women drivers.
You can go to traffic school on line, pass a test and it will not affect your insurance. You will spend more time going to court, waisting whole day of your time and pay the ticket anyway.
you failed to yield or come to a stop when you entered the crossing, you figured the moving cement truck was an indication no one was about to cross so you proceeded, I doubt you can fight it.
