Theres this boy in almost all my classes that I really like a lot. Ive liked him for almost 3 years now and im pretty sure he likes me but im really not sure. Hes sorta shy exccept around his close friends and me and sometimes acts a little weird since his dad died awhile ago. My friends and brother always tell me to ask him out but i would hate to not be friends anymore if i do ask him. Anywayshow do i see if he likes me and should i ask him out? thx so much!
Update:im also only 13, hes nice and sweet, im not allowed to go out with guys yet but idc so i cant go on dates with him so thats a problem, my friends have already asked him out and asked if i liked him and he got really uncomforatable, and he also avoids eye contact sometimes and acts nervous but warms up later.

Okay, this is what I went through like a week ago, a guy moved to school from Finland, and was really shy, but not around his friends of coarse. If you've spoken to him, then it should be hard to actually get to know him, ask him if he has an IM of some sort, and if he does, tell him you'll add him. That's how I got to know Jake. Now he admitted he liked me.

I really think you should just sort of throw yourself out there, and say... would you like to go to the movies this weekend? if he comes up with an excuse then you know he's not into you, but if he says yes then you've still got a shot....you drive and see if he pays for the movie, if he does then he definitely likes you and you should ask him about your relationship!
dont ask a boy out ! but get one of ur friends who also knows and kinda talks to this boy to tell him you like him or think hes cute and if he likes you back hell do the rest from there (: u just flirt and do that, and it should work (:
yeah just hang out more, doing things like movies, or stuff that would look like a date to a stranger, like dinner etc. if it triggers thoughts of dating you, he should make a move. if not, you'll feel like friends the whole time so it's cool.
Boys can be sweet but can be bad too. If hes bad, and u ask him, bad ending for u... If hes sweet, hed probs say yes. I mean my boyfriend was wit me for 3 days and called me a slut. Mind im 13... Well first i think you should maybe flirt with him,that way he understands that you like him.
Then i think you should like touch his arm or tell him he has nice eyes.
After that tell him "that somebody said you told them you liked me," and then just ask him straight "do you like me?"
If he says no, you say that is not what i heard.......just be honest do you like me?
And from then on i think your good with coming up with something on your own.
i think that maybe u could have one of ur friends talk to him and ask him for u but have them say that they can't tell u because u don't know that he or she is asking him
