I wanted to travel Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. I have never traveled like that before, and don't know what to do. I plan on going alone, whole thing taking about 2 to 3 weeks.
My question is, to anyone who has been there, how do I get a room? is 2 weeks enough time to for those 3 countries? How would I get a plane ticket for one country to the next one? Any recommended places or things to do there?
Thank you.

In two weeks you've not got enough time with one country, let alone three.
The Philipines are huge and a long way from the other two. It's best to have contacts there who can help you. It isn't a particularly safe place and some of the islands even Filipinos won't go to because they are too dangerous.
Thailand is having problems but most areas are OK now..
Vietnam is the cheapest and has lots to see. It's friendly and fairly safe but street sense is needed wherever you travel in the world so take care.
You get rooms from sites like Hostelbookers and Hostelworld which are safe and reliable, or by contacting a hotel or guesthouse directly. Hundreds of them in Vietnam are on the internet.
On the Home Page link below, select a country, say Vietnam, and then click on the arrow in the city box for a drop-down menu of what places are listed with hotels and hostels.
Click on each hotel or hostel to get more info

Here's a short answer to get you into a bit of travel thinking for Asia.

You need to book an airline ticket months in advance to get a decent price.
Travelocity and Expedia list all the carriers on any route you might choose. Put trial dates in for months ahead. One period wil be cheaper so now you know the time period to allow for booking your ticket. Prices start high, then dip, then rise again as the flight date approaches so catch the dip and you get a cheaper ticket.

See your medical center to find what meds you need. Your doc will look up the latest requirements on the World Health Authority database.
It takes time if you need injections and boosters so go about two or three months before you intend to go away.
You also need travel insurance which can be expensive. See an insurance broker in your home town.
You've got months yet before you go anywhere but below is another Q about travel. In the months while you're waiting to go and saving you can find out lots more and then you'll feel happier and more confident about going away.
It's for anyhere, not just Europe. Hostels and airline tickets, trains and buses, work just the same all over the world.
You won't be working in Asia so all that bit about working can be skipped.

Here's what it's like staying in co-ed hostel rooms. Most of the Asian ones are not co-ed rooms but you'll get some tips anyway....
It's an old answer but nothing changes. Just like they'll always be pillow fights in school dorms fifty years from now, haha
