If it isn't obvious, if someone in the future made a time machine, wouldn't they have traveled back sometime NOW?? Like seriously, does this mean we will never succeed in time travel?
Update:I think sleeping is future time traveling.

Maybe they invented invisibility cloaks before they invented time machines. Or maybe this is the least interesting period of history, so time tourists never visit now.
One problem nobody seems to deal with is that the earth is constantly moving. So, in order to make time travel work, you also have to move in space.
The earth rotates once in 24 hours, so if your trip was not an exact multiple of this you would land somewhere other than where you started. The earth is about 25,000 miles around at the equator, so if we moved a bit north or south from there, we could find a latitude that is 24,000 miles around. So there, rotation along the latitude is 1,000 miles per hour. If you travelled one hour forward or backward you would experience a displacement of 1,000 miles. Which might drop you in the middle of an ocean.
The earth goes around the sun once in 365 days, so a 20 day (say) jump would plop you into outer space.
The sun is moving along, and dragging all the planets with it, so your time travel would have to deal with that as well.
And if you got any of this just a little bit wrong, you might rematerialize in the ==interior== of the earth or the interior of the moon. That would be, like, crushing.
So, although those people in the future are pretty smart, they have some formidable problems to solve on this adventure.
Here is my answer, if it was possible there might be the problem of "Going in the time machine but then coming right back out older or the same way you went back in almost instantly" So that we would never truly know if time travel was possible until we have the technology and even then i highly doubt it would be of any use as of it probably will take a lot more time just to figure out how to use it. We will know how to travel forward in time much earlier than backwards in time as we will be stuck to "Time is linear" Belief among all scientists.
We already know it is impossible to travel back in time or atleast thats what we think right now. However, it is possible to travel to the future (in theory) but even at the best technology today, we can travel milliseconds into the future which is hardly useful.
As of now, we perceive that time travel will always be impossible. To be scientific, you need to travel faster than light before going backwards in time "technically". But if time travel does become possible, it is entirely possible that the people traveling made sure they went unseen. Or that they traveled back in time to a time we did not even arrive at yet.
Anything is possible, but as of now, it defies physics.
Yes we can, but if a time traveler comes from the future then he or she won't be visable and won't be able to communicate with us cause they live in a whole different dimension. So for all we know there can be one or thousands of travelers from the future right now next to us and we won't know it.
2012. End of days. Haha jkjk But im already hear so we have come already.
