Hi.... i need to write a paper on time travel.... so i need to compare an contrast two good/standard books.
I think one book im gonna select is "Time travel in Einstein's universe" by Richard Gott.
Can you please suggest another book that has contrasting ideas about time travel so that i can compare them well.
Update:btw, im not looking for a fictious novel that has wierd stories about time travel but i need to find somwething that scientifically analyses it.

Here's the wikipedia article on it, at the bottom there is a list of further reading. Read the article to learn about contrasting views, and select a book. Hope this helps, as I am myself not up on the topic...
when you look into space at the stars you are living time travel. The light that u see is equivalent in age as distance from the earth. So if a star is 1 billion light years away then the image or light particles that you see are 1 billion years old. For example, if I were to travel faster than the speed of light to a star that is 65million light yrs away and peer back to the earth I could see dinosaurs and the asteroid that killed them. So time travel is possible if you can travel much faster than light. Einstein said this was not possible yet scientists believe that with enough gravitational force u can fold space time in 1/2 and step to the other side of the universe in an instant. This method if possible would far surpass light speed. So if u have a super massive black hole machine and can manipulate its gravitational pull then it would be possible to travel 12billion light years away in an instant and witness the big bang only a few million years after it happened.
I would thing a sci fi story and a science paper would make an excellent compare and contrast. I think someone..prob his agent..once said HG Wells was the father of modern science.
The Time Machine by H.G. Wells is a book that explores the idea of time travel quite well (and viably, which is rare for novels) but it is fiction, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
well time travel isnt possible(yet) but it could destroy the world as we know it if you went into the past but then history would say that we travled for whatever the reason but then ok my head hurts im done
