Scarbo by Ravel help?
In Scarbo from Gaspard de la Nuit by Ravel, numbers appear right before the pedaling marks. I could not find out what this meant. Some examples are the "2" right before the Pedal mark in measures 45 and 73. Help would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

It's short for "à deux pédales", i.e. you will need to deploy both the u/c and sustain pedals. That's all... :-)
