You can't expect everyone to tell you the truth when you stand there waiting for compliments. If they WANT the book they'll buy it. All they're doing is congratulating you on finishing a project.

Anyone would be more concerned about your harassment ordeal than about your book. Your church showed that by offering to pay for six counseling sessions.

You have given mixed messages here. You say you are unconcerned about "everyone buying my book", yet you say another member gets "soo much recognition (I don't)." Are you envious? Is the content of your book, or books, or are your poems or your posts something the Church should congratulate you about or something that triggers their concern about your state of mind and spirit. (To other posters, I know this is a badly written sentence.) Does your writing honour God and help or enlighten society or is it your cry for help regarding yourself? One does not congratulate a stricken soul for wailing. One offers to help, which your church has done by paying for counseling. (BTW, Is the offer in order to make amends for a sexual assault by a chuchman? No matter. You should consider professional counseling and the support of your friends.)

I'd guess that no-one reads further than a few words of anything you write because your English is so poor.

They aren't giving you feed-back to avoid hurting your feelings.

They're offering counseling because you have psychological problems.
