I need help choosing a video card for my PC for the sole purpose of gaming. I would like to be able to play games such as WoW, so when Cataclysm hits, I'll be able to play at decently high settings. I'm currently using a crappy on board integrated chip (Geforce 6150 LE), and am looking to upgrade.

If you have not already found out, I suck *** with video cards. I don't know exactly what card will work with my system, hence why I am asking here. My price range is anywhere from like $50-$200. God speed.

The 8600GT is a sturdy card on your funds and that i desire to recommend it over the 2600 or 3850 you have appeared at from ATI. in case you do finally end up increasing your funds i could stronlgy recommend the 8800GT from nvidia as that's between the suited taking part in cards on the marketplace and exceeds something the 2600 or 3850 can cope with.

You need a higher wattage power supply to run most cards.
