i am a certified pharmacy technician, licensed and registered and everything just have not got a job yet because i am going to get my bachelors degree in biology at Furman. Would it be better for me to get a job as a pharmacy technician when I graduate or should I go on to do a radiology technologist program to enter into that field. And possibly get a CT or MRI certifacte as well. What is the difference in salaries? Thanks!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are hardly any jobs available for radiology, hospitals have actually been laying people off. There is a current overpopulation of certified radiologic technologists, but not enough jobs. There are thousands of rad techs. who get paid under $15 an hour.
Type in google "no jobs for radiologic technologists" there you will see articles about it being such a great career to have, but then when u read the comments, there are technologists from all over with high gpa's and experience who are in need of a job.. you can even go on a job search site and see how there are hardly any jobs..
It sucks b/c I've wanted to be a radiologic technologist since I was 14... :(
