black ops and trayarch. i know lots of fanboys would beg to differ but i personally found black ops better. also i would suggest not waisting money on more then ONE COD game, their the same with a couple of new weapons and maps. wait like 5 years to buy a new COD game.

IW would be better, but the original IW is gone so they just copy and paste now, MW2 would be good but the IW was crippled and could not fix it.

Treyarch is the best imo, they actually look at call of duty games and fix the problems, so if MW3 is really good, the next call of duty by Treyarch will be MUCH better, and zombies is really fun.

I tried MW3, it was okay but I did not buy it because Skyrim was better, and I still get lots of fun from Black Ops.

Treyarch focuses more on a good campaign, and a strong secondary gameplay (zombies, survival).

IW focusses more on a good online gameplay.

I personnally prefer Treyarch because they listen more to the community, and their campaigns (especially WaW) always keep me on edge. I also don't find that the online from the Mw's is a lot better than WaW and Black Op's. But of ccourse, everyone has different taste. But sometimes, it seems like IW just slacks off on campaign. They just dont care about their fans.

I personally prefer Infinity Ward (IW) because their gameplay is much smoother and not as depressing and dark as Treyarch's, but Treyarch adds more and better features with each new release.
