I'm learning how to play brown eyed girl by Van Morrison on the guitar but goin from G to C is messing me up. I can go from G to D but then when I go to C it throws me off because I mess up. I've been trying to get it right for a week now! Help?

Easy enough.
Just spend some time going back and forth from G to C.
It's just muscle memory. Once your fingers know the shape to make, you'll be able to play any chord you know at any time.
It's something you should do when you practice. Spend part of your practice time just going through every chord you know in a completely random order. When you learn a new chord, learn to transition from all the chords you already know to that one and back the same way.
There is no shortcut that will make it any easier or faster. Sorry, but if you want to get it down you're going to have to put the time in.
Just keep practicing
