My little girl is three and I can't get her potty trained I have tried taking her pull-ups off and that didn't work. I did the whole I give you a treat, nope that don't. I just don't know what to do.
Well with our daughter I have a basket chock full of $1 treats and it looks sooooo tantalizing to her that she will do anything to go into her "treasure box" to pick out a good girl treat. (but of course only after the deed has been done...LOL) Since I've done that, she doesn't even scream and carry on in stores anymore knowing that if she's good she will get to pick something out when she gets home. I know you said the treat thing didn't work, but try a visual treat box and fill it with $1 items. Target has a great section for $1 toys n' such or the dollar store. Our daughter now wants to sit on the potty just to pick a treat!! =) Just a suggestion even though I know you said the treat thing didn't work, but this is a different version of the treat thing. LOL =) Good luck! She will get there!!
Well you need to sit her on the potty and make her sit there there for 15 or 20 mins and out some pulls ups on her and some big girl undies on top she will think she is only wearing big girl undies and tell her if you went theese you will be wet for a long time and shes not a big girl for doing that and if shes three she needs potty trained you needed to start for a little while ago and praise her and tell her if she keeps having accidents then she gets a time out and praise her as much as you can and put her on the potty when you are drawing her bath water and take her every 30 mins or so and also give her gifts from the dollar store and tell her EX:if she dosnt go on the potty then she dosnt get to go to ballet class...try anything get her a video of elmos potty time and make her watch it every moringing and night and aslo keep an eye on her and turn the water on when she goes and try everything you can!!!! good luck
Put her in undies or pull ups and have her drink water/juice so she will have to go to the potty. Then ask her every half an hour and she'll get it. Luckily my daughter picked it up at 12 months following her brother to the restroom and watching him pee all the time. The only thing is I am having trouble getting her to poop in the potty LOL I found this way worked for us to get her used to going pee in the potty and b/c she was mimicing her brother =)
wow. i am so sorry you are getting such stupid answers. i have boys but i hope my advice helps. take her pullups away and reward her with big girl underwear. make a big deal out of it. take her to the store and let her pick them out. explain to her that she is a big girl. let her pick out a potty seat (if you dont already have one) and make it fun. take her in there and sit her on her potty when you need to use the bathroom. if she has on underwear and she pees, i doubt she will like the feeling. expect accidents though! when does that, clean her up and tell her that we she has that feeling, to run to the potty. maybe put up a chart and for everytime she goes in her potty put up a sticker. again, let her pick out the stickers. when she has gone so many times, let her pick something. maybe going to mcdonalds for a treat, or a sucker...something she will like. i hope this helps!
