Is there anyway for me to transfer music from an ipod to another/new computer or itune file? Anyone out there with a How to instructionals or at least a link to show me how to go about it... thanks..
I just had this same question.. you need download software to do this. Itunes keeps you from transferring ripped music/files from you IPOD to a new PC. I am about to purchase a music software that i found here on yahoo answers.. type in IPOD transfer and you will find it. there are lots of different programs to do this.

Well, if your talking about giving someone music, why not put it on a USB stick, then give it to them.
But if you're talking about specifically using the iPod, then that won't work as the iPod works by finding the path route of your system (locating the file). As the person will not have that file specified in the location given, it will not work.
Or if you want, the person can download songs from Piolet (it's like Limewire, but safe!). You can find it on Google: type in something like Piolet download songs free. Or something like that.
Here's a tips to help you do that. You need a iPod to computer transfer to help you backup all the things on your ipod to your computer. And then you can add them onto your itunes.

ok this may be hard to explain but ill try
go to 'Control Pannel'
go to 'Folder Options'
choose 'show hidden folders' (keep this window open to change back to hide hidden folders)
connect your IPOD
Go to the drive it is in (F drive etc)
open it
there should be a file named Music (or something like that)
and all your music will be there, it wont have the proper names but in itunes they should show
once you have copied them etc
go to your window with the hidden files and click 'hide hidden files' (or something like that) and there you go
if this doesnt work you can download programmes that do it
