well sorry if this doesnt make sense but ive been wanting to make those pics that make you a zombie and i found that you could use GIMP so i downloaded GIMP 2.6.6 for windows when i first opened it on both sides there was a bar with the tools on it and on the other side a bar that said the layers and stuff sorta like photoshop looks like well i couldnt figure it out so i closed it and looked around for tutorials then i found a good one that explains everything but when i opened gimp again the one that showed the layers was gone :( and i need that to make a picture transparent does anybody know how to make that bar pop up again i really need it : (
