Gimp lasso tool trouble?
I just recently downloaded gimp and have used the lasso tool and it worked perfectly fine. Now when I try to use it my selection doesn't appear. Show selection is even checked and it's still not there. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Sounds like you either have the "remove from selection", or "intersect with selection" button pressed in the tool options. Try clicking the little red single square button immediately to the right of Mode in the tool options - if you mouse over it, it says "Replace Current Selection".
