it is never too late to be flexible you can start from now by streching body in different ways everyday
stretching is the key to getting flexible. If you stretch a lot it shouldn't take years maybe one or two months. Make sure that your muscles are warm before you stretch or you could pull something. I am assuming that you are talking about your hamstings. Once you are warm try laying on your back and doing battemats and then grab your leg and pull it towards you. Also if you have someone push your leg down it will help alot. Ask your teacher for other stretching ideas as well I am sure he/she will be happy to help you. Just stretch 15-30 mins a day and you will see improvement in no time!
you should really start getting your flexibility up right now. When you start to reach becoming an adult, then your bones settle in and tend to only stretch up to what you could originally, and then its hard to become any more flexible from then.
do wall splits its like a stradle against the wall. just put your legs against the wall in a stradle and let gravity do the rest. a few minutes each day will help alot. i didnt have my splits at first then a couple days of this and i had my splits and i was way more flexible
Yes it can!!!! Within a few months i already knew how do an oversplit and i got into the middle splits within a few weeks. But i do alot of dancing like 5 classes a week.
With Yoga, you'll likely get the most thrilling doing that. in case you imagine you could cope with it, attempt Ashtanga Yoga (or capacity Yoga, for watered-down hinduist stuff), it is heavier than the conventional Hatha Yoga
Try Bikram yoga.....that should do it
