First of all, air travel is cheaper now than every before. And for those of us in the industry, we don't get cheap tickets nor can we offer them. Stand-by is just that. You can get stuck for days and no one would be willing to give you a buddy pass if they don't know you. Most employees wont even give out the buddy passes to people they do know. You represent that person when you are flying under their benefits and if you do not adhear to dress code policy or have any issues with the agents, that employee can lose their privileges or be fired.
Secondly, you don't want stand-by for International flights. Those generally fill up and you can get stuck for days and even weeks at a time. Also most airlines have embargos on dates when stand-by travel can be used to certain destinations. Especially during the summer and holiday travel season.
Your best option is to do some research on your own to find the best price that suits your budgets. We don't have some secret discounts that we can hand out like retail. And like I said before, NO ONE would give a stranger their buddy passes. If someone offers to sell you one, that is illegal and that person can be fired.
Try Kayak, Orbitz or sign up for Travel Zoo. Check the airlines websites. But, you'll just have to start looking. Book 30 days in advanced for the best prices.
Delta sells their positive space tickets at 20% off their highest price ticket to their employees, and this is for a seat in coach. You can find a much cheaper ticket at either expedia, orbits, priceline, or hotwire where they've already discounted the tickets up to 75%. Also check individual airlines websites for specials. I'd start with Cathay Pacific.

It won't cost you anything to look up a travel agent and call them.
