I'd say stop hanging out with her. If she has a problem she shouldn't be out telling it to people she first met. She should be talking to her doctor or her family or something. It doesn't really matter if she's "intelligent" because, if she was, she wouldn't be hitting on you and trying to drag you into something you obviously don't want to deal with. I once had a friend similar to this, and all she did was seek attention (by announcing her cutting problem), screw guys, do drugs, and get pregnant. She was told to be intelligent as well, yet this proves she was a huge moron. Trust me, she isn't worth hanging out with, so it'd be best for you if you ignored her.
