are there any programs for a US citizen to study sambo abroad? but let me be clear that i wish to learn COMBAT sambo and not SPORT sambo. i am already an amateur sambo practitioner, but this training is more sport oriented. it can still function practically in a real altercation, but im not looking to become an athlete, but a disciplined martial artist. no trophies, no belts and no titles, just the pure ability to defend ones self from harm. what im getting at is can i travel to russia to learn traditional, authentic advanced combat sambo? are their any methods to go about doing this? and also i just want to travel and see russia :)
