Research. Pick up an old photography text book from a used book store. Practice. Take photographs all the time. Don't imitate dumb kids on myspace... look at real, successful photographers. Try to learn what it is you like about photographs and what you don't like about others.
It seems to me like you are young so just practice for now. I got my first camera when I was eight and used it all of the time. When I got to high school photography I had a basic understanding. Once I took some classes I learned the technical and traditional aspects of photography. Now I am a photographer.
You can take great shots with a $50 camera, or crap with a $5000 camera. If you don't have an eye for it, you can take a ton of technically good pictures, but they'll all be boring.
get a camera of some sort, and if you are indeed creative like you claim to be, then you should have little problem getting what you want no matter how much (or little) you spend
