In old runescape (07 servers) I logged onto my best friend IRL account and dropped a mith pickaxe i wanted to borrow in a random building. I logged onto my account from the same computer and picked it up.
With my luck, a stupid kid was there and started to follow my account and said "reported."
Im guessing for account sharing/trading. Is this a serious offense? Is it likely my account or my friends account will be permanently banned? Actually forget about me could my friend be in trouble?
How long will it take until I know we're in the clear and nothing will happen?

(Yes i play runescape occasionally my life is boring so u can spare the incredibly hilarious jokes. Please honest answers. I honestly don't care if my account gets banned I would however not forgive myself if something happened to my friends account, because he really enjoys it.)

it depends on jagex if you're friend does have a perm ban report against him tell him to include that he was hacked to check the ip adress of his account
though i would't be having you'r hopes up because i swear the appeals are robots who don't read them
