Seeing as how Dylan was the realist and voice of reason on the show, I think he got forced out by people who would profit in his abscence.
Update:Note that Dylan, in an interview on April 10th, was asked if this was a sucker's rally. And he said YES.
Now imagine if he said that everyday...

I think Ratigan wanted to do stories outside the normal format of fast money. He wanted to do more in-depth stories about sub-prime, the economy, national debt, etc. Evidently CNBC, was not interested in this.
I doubt that most people that watch the show care if he thought this was a sucker's rally. Most of the folks that actively trade think they are smarter, than TV hosts.
Ego clash with his VP at CNBC ; CNBC did not renew contract but MSNBC signed him up.
CNBC didnt renew the contract, so Radigan left for MSNBC
