I have never watched the show, but they are constantly showing commercials for his show this fall, and he is SOO funny! I just want others opinions please!!! :)
I like him, I wouldn't say he is the funniest guy ever. I think he has an 'everyman' type appeal, he seems like he would be a nice guy, not stuck up or anything if you met him.
I hardly ever watch the "Tonight" show or "Letterman", but if I do, I watch for the monologue at the beginning to see what is said about news events. I guess he will continue that on his new show, which probably won't be very different from the Tonight show in some ways.
The thing with this new show is 5 nights a week might be hard to pull off in prime time (Although they seem to nearly manage it with "America's Got Talent" "Law & Order" and "Dateline") but I think they might reduce it to one or two nights a week instead of 5 after a while.
I think he is the best of the late night hosts. His humor is the most creative and funniest. His political humor pokes fun at all major parties, which makes it fair yet funny.
By comparison, Conan is pretty good but a bit less funny. Letterman's routine is old, stale and hasn't been funny since sometime in the 80's.

He isn't that funny. I find Conan and Craig to be more funny during Light Night.

He may be funny but his time slot is where cops shows and crime drama would normally be, and I'd rather watch those.
I don't
Even as a talk show host I would watch other before him
He is alright but I prefer Dane Cook to be honest but my all time favorite would have to be George Carline.

He is okay, He's not the funniest but he is pretty funny.
