I watched the show called ancient aliens and was amazed about how the Nazi army was far more advanced then us at the time and how they were ALMOST the ones to create a nuke first, but when they talked about how they might have built a time machine and that some generals might have used it to get away from punishment and I guess a craft of some kind simaler to said time machine was found crashed 2 years later(reported to just crash by nearby civilians) and I wondered how is that possible because even if we did time travel how would we end up in the same place? When we time travel how does the "rift" know to travel or teleport to the same exact spot on earth when it is rotating FAST revolving around the sun FAST while the solar system is moving around space FAST p.s please try to be simple about explanation if there is one ':/
(I asked this before and was not really happy with the answers)

Time travel is theoretically possible by either travelling faster than light, which would send you into the past. Of course ftl travel is impossible unless you bring an Einstein-Rosen bridge into play (a wormhole). If the mouth of the bridge is in accelerated time, while the other mouth is slowed, anyone entering the accelerated mouth would come out in the past and visa versa. However, whether or not this is possible (even theoretically), is not entirely certain. Furthermore, entering the past could have several serious complications resulting in (possibly) time loops, a tear in space time resulting in obliteration, or the creation of alternate time lines. In addition, it is likely that entering the past could simply allow you to exist yet make it impossible for events to be altered. Entering the future, which would be exponentially more difficult would leave little worry for altering events, though what the future holds could very likely be extremely dangerous to a would-be time traveler.
many people including me though that time travel is instantaneous .... although its not
i will repeat what others have said, time travel into past is absolutely impossible, no doubts!
however to the future it is!
and its supported by time dilation, a consequence of travelling fast, by fast i mean close to speed of light
the faster you go, (closer to speed of light, not more than it ofcourse) the slower time passes for you
what it means, is that what seems 10 minutes for you, could well be 10 years on the surface of the Earth.
in a way you have travelled 10 years - 10 minutes ~ 10 years into the future ...
so u see it takes a finite time to travel into the future
as for landing into the right spot?
its just a spacecraft capable of close to light speeds, it can be landed anywhere! ... including the exact spot, where it left from, if that spot exists in the future!
Time travel to the past is impossible. It goes against the laws of relativity (moving faster than light), and thermodynamics (entropy must be reversed).
Time travel to the future is possible, but it requires moving close to the speed of light. This means you have to travel through space, and cannot be done on earth's surface. But I guess time traveling to the future is useless if what you're looking to do is correct a mistake.
Time travel is impossible. That simple.
Nothing can travel faster than light so it would be impossible to travel through time.
No one scientist will be commented the TV. The more this theme. It very hard to understand. You can be happy by candy!
maybe it doesn't even move really just cuts thru space and time idk really ayy feel so smart now txs:)
