Christmas gift trouble?
Ok a while back during the summer, my uncle gave me a 9 year old laptop that he wasn't using anymore, for my birthday. I was very grateful, however it is very slow and isn't the greatest laptop. For Christmas, I asked my parents for a new laptop (which I will pay a part of). Just yesterday, I find out that SAME UNCLE, will be at our house during Christmas, so he will be there if I do get the new laptop. This will make me seem very ungrateful and it will be very awkward. What should I do about this?

No, it won't be awkward.
Uncle knows it was just a "starter" laptop. Likely he gave it to you because he got a new one. He would/should know it wasn't in top condition.
If you like - you could ask your parents - to save that gift for later when everyone has gone home. You wouldn't be able to fool with it until then anyway.

He isn't stupid, he knew that laptop was a piece of junk when he gave it to you. It was 9 years old? Was it housed in a suitcase?? Did it have a 28.8 fax/modem?? Don't even worry about it.
Put poison in his egg nog . Lol jk . . Say u need a certin program installed 4 school or work but a older computer wont work so u need a upgrade.
