I think it helps more DURING labor to get labor going. But it is definitely good to tone your uterus which leads to a much faster labor! Good luck, start drinking now, won't hurt to try!
Raspberry leaf tea does not induce labor. It is supposed to be taking for a few weeks before labor as it is supposed to strengthen the uterus and help make labor easier. Personally I have never used it. Nothing you are going to be able to do at home is going to induce your labor. Inductions should only be done by a medical professional for medically necessary reasons. Just remember unless there is a medical reason, you don't have to get be induced. You aren't even to your due date yet. You aren't considered over due until 42 weeks. I wouldn't even consider an induction until then unless there was an emergency. Inductions are done far often now for no reason.
shaking head...three thumbs down. Get a clue people. Raspberry leaf tea does NOT induce labor and inductions don't HAVE to be done until 42 weeks. Inductions shouldn't be done bc one is sick of being pregnant or to fit a schedule.
No. It doesn't. But it does help strengthen your pelvic and uterine muscles. Not recommended to drink before 36 weeks. So,you're in the clear now if you wanted to try some.
