I try to connect to multiplayer when playing BFBC2, but most times now (Its getting to be very constant) i get the "Failed to connect to EA Online" error message. I have never had this problem before although i just recently got a new xbox (The Elite). EA in general are the only servers i cannot connect to, every other multiplayer game i connect perfectly with. I've tried setting back the clock but it seems to me to be a useless attempt since the date settings are automatically changed when you sign into xbox live and cannot be changed. I really don't know what to do and this is very frustrating does anyone know a solution?

EA screwed up their servers recently. They've reduced server load limits in order to make room for Bad Company 3. On August 11th they also shut down online service for Army of Two, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2, Medal of Honor Airborne, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Nascar 09, NCAA Basketball 10, NCAA Football 10, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Need For Speed Undercover, Skate, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. Use a search engine to search for "Failed to connect to EA online," and only search for this month alone. The web is on fire with the issue you're having, and EA won't say a thing about it, even on their own forums. They expect everyone to just deal with it. Don't bother trying their bogus tips to get your problem solved, the problem is on their end. Sometimes you'll be able to connect, sometimes you won't.
That happened to me too. But I use the madcatz wireless adapter. I needed to set up my wireless settings again. Maybe that's ur problem? Cause the same thing happened to me and I couldn't connect to ea servers but after I did this, and played with the Internet settings, it works now. And ya even me it was bad company 2
it happens to everyone,
its not your xbox or wifi, its EA
