I am not sure which type of weaving you are having the problem with, so I am sending you the sites I have found in the search. { There is also a weaving that you would use when finishing something and here is it's site http://www.perestroika.ca/html2/vest/handstitching...

When I buy hair for weaves, I don't really go for brands. I have the salespeople take the hair out of the package, so I can better judge the hair. Different people like different things. You're best bet is to go to a beauty supply store specializing in weaves and ask to sample some of the hair. There will be plenty to choose from different colors to different textures. As for the length, if you want you can go for the 18" and the stylist should be able to cut the hair accordingly. Just because you bought 18" it doesn't have to stay that length. So you can have her put the weave in at that length and if you think it's too long have her cut it.
