Highschool- Pros & Cons? What's it like? Is it possible to finish school early? Is it true that my social life would be lacking? What's it like VS. Public School? What would you pick personally and why? Anything else you'd like to share? I'm really considering it for myself and just would like further input.

I see no cons only lots and lots of pros. You must do you own research on stats, etc... to convince yourself of this though. a good start is at http://www.hslda.org/hs/state/default.asp
The only problem with socialization is to much of it! Sometimes we can over do it and lose balance by having to many friends and intriguing activity's and not enough of the book work. If your not careful.
It is to much fun actively learning in a variety of ways, situations, with daily one on one attention when we are homeschooling! Rather than being stuck behind a desk all day.
IDK; do you like be stuck with little to no control over your life verses having full and total control?
I am home schooled, but I have also gone to public school. There is only one con to home schooling : social life. There is no place to make friends, or meet people. That is the only reason I kept going back to public school. But there is a few ways to meet people. In most places, they have homeschool groups, or classes you can got to. Other than that, homeschooling is the best. No more having to put up with teacher's crap, no cafeteria, and usually you get school done a LOT faster, because there is no wasting time watching movies, or listening as the teacher helps someone else. Stay in your pajamas all day! Although, if your mom will be homeschooling you, it's going to be hard to find the right curriculum, and it will be a big change. Good Luck!
I can't think of any cons to homeschooling, other than the adjustment period. I was homeschooled and ended up graduating about 2.5 years sooner than I would have in public school. I didn't have much of a problem with my social life, since we had the time and ability to meet people in various activities (conventions, volunteer efforts, extra classes, etc). I also loved the ability to choose practically any subject I chose, other than my core requirements. For example, at one point I was obsessed with limestone, so we ended up doing a bit of our studies at a quarry and toting home samples for experiments. And science was a blast (we totally blew up our garden!). I liked it so much, I decided to homeschool my own son.
I ABSOLUTLEY hate public high school, in my opinion it's awful. I want to be homeschooled. xx
