it should be safe in areas away from Palestinian/Israeli confrontation.
Use the same measures for a foreigner visiting any country, keep away from side streets mainly by night, do not act like tourists and definitely never try to be suspect for anything
Israel is pretty darned safe to visit! As always Israel is in the spotlight all too often. The media is far from accurate only showing the worst of the worst. Israeli cities are no more dangerous than any major city anywhere in the world. If you feel safe were you live now than while visiting Israel you will feel safer. Israel is a beautiful country so then just go!
Safety tips? Stay with the tour, or if you do come alone, be sure to stay out of the west bank and Gaza.
2. Don't visit the West Bank unless the situation is relatively stable. Same goes for the Golan Heights. If you are going with a group, then they won't put you in danger, so don't worry about it.
3. Follow all the rules you would do in ANY city. Israeli cities are on average safer than American ones; however, safer doesn't mean completely safe.
Israel is safe for all ages. Don't worry about a thing.
Shalom, B'Hatzlekha V'Nosiah Tova! (Shalom, good luck, and good travels!)
To answer, Israel is very safe and secure, I feel safer in Israel then back home.Israel is an interesting country to visit, full of historic and religious significance. For a more enjoyable trip, travelers should be mindful of ways to stay safe while visiting Israel.I would avoid Gaza and the Westbank.
You should recognize religious Customs, out of respect, asssaults have been committed (not often but very rarely)on those who don't abide by the proper customs on holy days,Jerusalem's Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods recognize Friday, Saturday and Sunday as holy days, when residents and guests don't drive their cars and dress modestly.
Try not to be a victim of robbery,The State Department notes that the crime rate in Israel is very moderate, with car thefts, break-ins and purse snatches being the most common crimes. The easiest way to avoid a theft or robbery is to store your valuables in a safe place. Don't leave valuables in your car, and never carry large amounts of cash, jewelry or electronics on you unnecessarily.
Here I have listed other ways to make your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible.Israel uses 220 volt current and a unique plug shape. If you do not have a U.S. to Israel voltage converter, most Israeli electronic shops carry them. Prices range from 50 to 200 shekels.Israeli municipal water standards are equivalent to U.S. standards. Israeli tap water is clean and safe, but does have a high mineral content. Travelers can also choose from a variety of bottled waters. It's tempting to put your bags aside to get a closer look at things of interest. Don't do this in Israel. Unattended bags attract suspicion, and the police are summoned to check them out.Israel's health care system includes emergency care available to anyone in the country. Patients are required to have health insurance coverage. Foreign visitors can purchase travel insurance through their health insurer or travel agent.Israeli law requires all residents and visitors to carry ID. Foreign visitors should carry a valid passport, with a current entry stamp. Police officers can stop individuals and request identification.
Do not leave any packages or bags unattended. In Israel, such a 'suspicious' package is called a hafetz hashud - police are called immediately and the package is imploded.
I definitely have been to Israel three times before, and that i'm definitely going there in some weeks. I definitely have kin who stay to tell the story a moshav there, close to Netanya. i admire the people, the climate and the history. I definitely have basically been to Jeruslaem as quickly as and did not take the excursion with the Jerusalem Border guard.

I travel to Tel Aviv several times a year and I have found that renting an apartment for short term is much cheaper than renting a hotel room. It is also more convenient it lets you feel a part of the city opposed to feeling like a tourist. There are many companies for short-term rental in tel aviv.
I'm happy to recommend one company that provides professional service.
They have clean and beautiful apartments and they are very nice people who love to help, honest and will be happy to assist you with recommendations to good restaurants and nightlife.
Company Name TLV2GO - Holiday apartments and short term rentals in Tel Aviv
Why not wait until Israel becomes Palestine. It will take a few years but it is safer to visit virtually any Muslim country except for the ones in which the US or Israel has disrupted by attacking them.
If you insist on going, use sun screen because Israelis discriminate against dark-skinned people but that is what Apartheid is all about, of course.
You will find that Israelis are arrogant and rude and the only good food is Arab food.
Go to Lebanon instead it's much safer, the food is better, the girls are prettier, there is a lot more history, your money will go further, people are much much more friendly, don't waste your time going to Israel I've been her it was the worst experience of my life, I hated every minute of my trip. and I'm a Jew
