You throw it away from yourself giving it a speed of 8.4m/s. How much time does it take for you to reach the other side of the ice which is 15.5m away? Your mass is 75kg.

Use conservation of momentum:
m1v1 = m2v2
2.5 * 8.4 = 75 * v1
v1 = 2.5 * 8.4 / 75
v1 = 0.28 m/s
And we know that:
speed = distance / time
0.28 = 15.5 / t
t = 15.5 / 0.28
t = 55 seconds to two significant figures.
Using conservation of momentum,
m1v1 = m2v2
2.5 * 8.4 = 75 * v
v = 0.28 m/sec
Dist = 15.5 m
Time = 15.5/0.28 = 55.35 sec
