So back in November i was arrested for shoplifting febreze. I went to court this month and i was convicted w/ a misdemeanor, which will be dismissed in 90 days, when i complete my community service.
I have an interview Friday as a child/infant swim instructor. I feel horrible, and i understand that now i have to pay the consequence to my mistake, but i really want to get the job. I love working with kids, and im not a bad person. So i was thinking that at the end of my interview i would be upfront about my conviction. Do you think this will affect my chances of getting the job?

I think they will be glad you were honest. I knew a friend who did the same thing and he was actually a good kid. I've been in trouble myself with weed. Never really thought anyone would really care if i smoked but now i know differently. Anyways just be honest and tell them how bad you feel. I mean it was only febreeze.
Be honest cause they might think you didn't tell them cause its more serious than it is..
