Heat helps to ease the pain, if you dont have a heating pad, take a long sock, like a tube sock or knee sock and fill it with rice. Close the end, I used a hair tie (no metal on it) then heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. Put it on your leg and stay as still as possible. Great for neck pain too.

Leg Cramps?

Too young to have this! You may want to get the homeopathic remedies Magnesium Phosphoricum, Silicea and Hypericum Perforatum. All non-toxic. Strength 6X, 12X 30X, all OK.

Fill dropper bottle with purified water, place one pill each in the water, shake and take a drop (or 2-3) under your tongue very oftne, at first every few minutes, then less and less often, but at least 5 times a day to refill the storage of these minerals/remedies in the body.

I like to add some apple cider vinegar and brown sugar to taste.

Make fresh every day, make less when less is needed.

It is not only potassium that will help get rid of cramps... you must also have magnesium. Magnesium is found in spinach, beef, greens, cashew nuts, broccoli and tofu. It is used by the body to release energy to the body and also for proper bone and tissue growth. If you don't have enough magnesium in your diet then you will have muscles twitching and cramping. So add a few of these foods to that shopping list too. ;-)

If it is a minor cramp like an ache or dull pain, then you should get some rest. If it is really sharp pain that last for just a few seconds of few minutes, then continue to stretch and do some small exersize too, until you can get some naners.

Other foods very high in potassium are spinach and greens. You might also get some minor temporary relief from gatorade if you have any in the house. But you REALLY need bananas and spinach.

Press you foot against something and push.... or stand on your foot until it goes away. You'll find if you put a pillow at the end on your bed and put the bottom of your feet against it (so your toes are pointed up). you won't have cramps in your legs at night anymore. What sometimes happens at night is that you foot drops and your muscles tighten and won't let go until you stand up. Hope your pain in the leg goes away soon.
