NH4NO3 + HCl-->
i think it makes nitric acid?? facts plz
and is NH4Cl a solid that i could filter trough a cofey filter
I think it's this:HCl+NH4NO3--->NH4Cl+HNO3
Nh4no3 Hcl
basically NH4NO3 is acidic, and HCl is also acidic, so no reaction tend to accur. that is the situation in solution. But situation will change if NH4NO3(solid)+HCl(concentrated). Some NH4Cl can be formed by sublimation etc.
u r right
the reaction results in the production of HNO3 (nitric acid) and NH4Cl
NH4Cl is an ionic compound, hence soluble (no precipitate forms). you can extract by purification and solvent extraction (risk of low yield)...
gives NH4Cl and HNO3
