I am in 8th grade and their is a new girl in my class that i like how do i get to be friends with her

uhh talk to her?im not a girl ,but if u dont wanna look creepy you might want to start off easy like do stuff to get closer to her (like try to help her with work or show her around at school if shes new there).and don't ever be afraid of being rejected since theres always more girls out there.
