I recently joined the choir at my church at the teen mass (I'm 17) and I have a few problems. 1Its mostly females and I have a hard time singing in their register and can't do so without straining my voice. When I sing lower octaves it's hard to stay on pitch. 2 because I have a deep voice people say they can't hear me, how can I project my voice more in this low tone.
I have no problems with confidence or anything because it's a church choir, I just need a few tips

The Superior Singing Method is like having a personal vocal instructor showing you exactly how your voice works, and how to work with each muscle group in your voice to get the results you want. https://tr.im/learntosing
In just 5 minutes a day, you could start singing with incredible control, power, and pitch. You will learn how to eliminate tension through simple tips and techniques that will allow you to sing with more power and confidence.
use your diaphragm and raise your soft pallet, open your mouth, the way I learned is put your hands on the sides of your face your the back of your hand, bend it so that your fingers from the knuckle down are the part that your are laying against your cheeks, this will help you keep your mouth open wide. remember not palm, back of hand, lay the fingers straight against your cheeks from the knuckle down. ^^ Good Luck. Oh, don't forget to not only warm up, but warm down, if necessary warm up a little before you go in, if the warm ups the quire gives you are not enough, try to warm up for at least 20 min if you are really struggling, but warm ups are not about going as high and low as you can immediately, start a natural state and work your way up and down, if all else fails you might want to consider checking your range again, your voice can change and you might need to be put into another section.
