Because in 6 months 2 a year he probably won't be your boyfriend anymore. How would you feel if you know that tomorrow or in a month or in six months he won't be your boyfriend anymore? If you could talk to yourself in the future do you think your future self would tell you to have sex with him when the odds are he won't be your boyfriend forever? Ask him how long he pictures you dating. If he says a long time ask him what a long time means. Most likely if he's honest he will not say longer than a year or so. You might picture being with him forever but he's not picturing that.
