Many people doubt the validity of Jung typology because each person is unique and there are small differences in everyone.
Jung typology, however, does not govern every aspect of one's personality. If it did. it would be as false as made out to be by these people.
Jung typology categorizes people into a combination of only four preferences. Within the parameters of these distinctions, people ARE the same, and so can be typed.
There is and abundance of theory and research explaining why it is true. If some says it isn't, they are simply uninformed on the matter and their "opinion" can be ignored.
1) This should be in psychology.
2) It does mean something. The people that don't accept the results either don't know that much about the test and or are denying their true self.
I think you can generally classify personality types but the variables are infinite and realizing that we cannot define any being with accuracy and conclusive statements. Until we are ourselves awake in the Reality of our being we can never see with perfect clarity.
