I have no experience with programming. I heard that C was the best language to go for me then. The online tutorials seemed difficult for me cause of some terms. So i thought of going by the book. Anyone know the best book to go by for this .

The "Teach Yourself" series by Sams Publishing tend to be good introductory texts. I would note that "Teach Yourself C" has a 4 star rating on Amazon, for example.
That said, I'd question if C is the best language to learn programming in. A language such as Python, Ruby or Java could be a candidate as they're slightly more friendly languages from a technical standpoint.
