Is time travel possible?
My friend told me that you can buy a time machine on ebay. I tried to find one, but I couldn't. This leads me to believe that he is joking about it. Can anyone confirm that this is true? Please and thank you.

there is not currently a time machine but it is believed that 3ds of movement (forward+backward,side to side, and up+down) are not the only dimensions of movement but that there is a forth called time... scientist believe one day we will be able to create the time machine to allow us to move through the 4th dimension.
Any time machine is fictional -- like a movie prop that doesn't really work without special effects!
I've never seen one except in movies and television -- H. G. Wells wrote a book "The Time Machine" a hundred years or so ago, so you'd get a different idea of technology when your time machine is steam powered!
1st of all your friends was wrong.....&..joking with you.. See here is the thing.. If you were born in 1600.. And anyone come out and tell you.. About computers. Java, flash, downloading, torrent, seed.. Than you would never believe is words... Same as that.. TIME MACHINE WILL ALSO BE MADE...Now a days world is extremely developed... But there is a word "INFINITY" After 50 or 200 years time machine will also. be made ....... And if now anyone comes and tells you.. about time machine you won't believe like me...
At this moment time travel as you are speaking about is not possible, no. There are a wide variety of theories about why it might technically be possible, but at current technological levels it cannot be done in any way, plain and simple.
