On my way to school this morning, i was pulled over for doing 38 in a 25. The cop turned his lights on as i turned into my school parking lot and with his speaker told me to "stop." As directed, i looked if there was any place to pull over off the road, but there was not. After 3 or 4 seconds, he said "get to the side of the damn road." Given i had to drive foward nearly 20 yards to get past the road barrier, i drove passed it and then pulled over.
He came to my window, asked for insurance and license and all that, came back with my ticket.
Now, I UNDERSTAND that impeding traffic is better to get than speeding, as speeding gets you points. However, the street i was driving on is normally 40mph. When the sign is blinking, the 25mph residential speed limit comes into play. The sign was not blinking, and i was driving casually in the flow of the lane i was in. Is that honestly my fault for not assuming it was supposed to be 25mph?
And isn't the impeding traffic completely his fault?

since the limit is 40 but 25 when the light is flashing seeing how the light was not its not ur fault if the ticket is worth fighting do it
When an officer tells you to stop, he means NOW. Not when You are ready..NOW.
If the sign says 25mph when flashing, then you are in violation. But, if the sign was not illuminated AT THAT TIME, I think would you be succesful in arguing it in court.
